Challenge 89 heads to the United States Youth Soccer National Championships in Little Rock Arkansas July 23 – 27.  Each year United States Youth Soccer hosts the National Championship Series.  Each State has a competition to determine a State Champion in the U14 through U19 age groups for both boys and girls.  The State Champions then compete in one of four Regional Championships.  The Champion of each Region event plays in the National Championships.  Over 10,000 teams compete from around the country in all age groups.  In the end, there will be 12 National Champions crowned; one in each gender in the 6 different age groups competing.

Challenge 89 is playing in the U19 girl’s age group.  The format for the competition is a round robin of the four teams with the top 2 teams playing again in the National Championship final.  Challenge 89 will play FC Pennsylvania Strikers, Slammers FC from Southern California, and Force Football Club from Michigan.
