Challenge Staff Update!
Challenge Soccer Club is excited to announce the hiring of former University of Cincinnati Men's Assistant Soccer Coach, Matt Deming! Matt will serve as a goalkeeper coach for the club as well as coach on the boys side - Challenge United Soccer Club.

About Matt Deming:

For the last six years Matt has been a men's college soccer assistant coach.  During the 2019 - 2020 season he worked at University of Cincinnati, and the previous five seasons he worked as an assistant at Lehigh.  Deming played collegiate soccer at Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania from 2003-07.

At Lehigh, Deming helped guide the Mountain Hawks to the program’s second-ever Patriot League Championship and fourth NCAA Tournament appearance in 2015. Prior to joining the Lehigh coaching staff, he was a graduate assistant coach at Lock Haven from 2011-13. At his alma mater, he assisted with all facets of the program and helped guide the Bald Eagles to a regular-season league championship in 2011.

Deming earned a pair of degrees from Lock Haven: a bachelor’s degree in recreation management in 2008 and a master’s degree in sports administration in 2011.  "We are beyond excited Matt will be joining us.  He is an outstanding coach, who brings a wealth of experience as a goalkeeper coach and coaching in the men's college game.  He will coach boys and girls keepers and coach one boys team.  Matt is someone that can assist Chris in improving our already nationally recognized goalkeeper program, and provide our boys players outstanding coaching and additional insight into the college recruiting process.  Matt will join us July 1st."  Pat O'Toole, Executive Director, Challenge Soccer Club.
