ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
The Presidents' Day Invitational is a competitive tournament for U9/U10 Academy teams and U11 through U19 Division I, Super 2 and Division II girls soccer teams. The tournament is an excellent way to prepare your team for spring 2010 play. All teams will be scheduled a minimum of 4 matches. Teams will be paired in Premier, Competitive and Open brackets. Awards are presented to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams for all U11 through U14 teams. TOURNAMENT RULES

Teams will receive official notification of acceptance and non-acceptance via email. A list of accepted teams will be posted on the Challenge Soccer Club website.
U9 & U10 TEAMS
We will offer U9-U10 competition in the 8v8 format only. Academy teams will play 3 mini-games on Saturday with no games on Sunday.
U11 & U12 TEAMS
We will offer U11 competition in the 8v8 format only. We will offer U12 competition in both 8v8 and 11v11 formats. Be sure to designate which format you prefer to play in when you register your team.
TEAM PARTICIPATION & GUEST PLAYERS
U11 teams may enter with a maximum of 12 players on the roster. U12 (11v11) through U15 teams may enter with a maximum number of 18 players. U16 - U19 teams may enter with a maximum of 22 players. There is no limit on the number of guest players per team, so long as the roster does not exceed the limits listed above.
FORMAT
We will strive to have 8 team flights...flights will consist of two brackets (A and B) of four teams. Each team will play the other three teams in its bracket for a total of three preliminary games. After the completion of the three preliminary games, the team in each bracket with the highest number of points will be bracket winners and will compete against one another in the championship game. The team in each bracket that accumulates the 2nd highest number of points after playing the three preliminary games will compete for the 3rd place trophy. The teams with the third and fourth highest number of points in each bracket will play consolation games against the third and fourth place teams in their respective brackets.
U9-U10 teams will play three games on Saturday. Each game will be 30 minutes (2 x 15 minute halves). U11-U14 teams will play 60 minute games (2 x 30 minute halves) and U15-U19 teams will play 70 minute games (2 x 35 minute halves).
FIELDS/MAPS
U9-U14 games will be played at Lindsey/Lyons Park. All others will be played at Burroughs Park.

HOTEL INFORMATION
All teams participating in the tournament must stay in one of the official tournament hotels. A list of available tournament hotels will be available soon. Please Note: Teams from out of town will NOT be scheduled games until we have their hotel information.
TEAM CHECK-IN
Check in will be at the Tournament Headquarters tent at the fields. Teams must check in one hour prior to their first match on Saturday.
