ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
Challenge is proud to announce that we will host The IV ’09 Girls College Cup Showcase. “The IV ’09”, sponsored by adidas, will run in conjunction with the NCAA Division I Women’s College Cup hosted by Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.The IV ‘09 will once again be one of the top women’s college recruiting event of the year. The event draws State, Regional and National level teams and clubs from all over the country. When Challenge hosted this event in ’07 more than 250 college coaches from NCAA Division One, Division Two, Three and NAIA schools were in attendance. The IV ‘09 is a nationally recognized tournament designed to promote the highest level of competition in youth soccer. Games will be scheduled to create the best possible matches and to give athletes a chance to shine on one of the biggest stages set for youth soccer in the country.APPLICATION TO HOST
ELITE CLUBS NATIONAL LEAGUE
The IV ’09 is one of 5 ECNL events scheduled for the 2009-2010 season. 32 of the 40 ECNL member clubs will participate in The IV ’09. The members of the ECNL are 40 of the best female youth clubs from across the country. For a complete list of member clubs, please go to www.usclubsoccer.org.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
If you wish to participate in The IV ‘09, please complete and submit the online application and team information forms. Application Form and Team Information Form MUST be submitted online.

Application Fee: $1,350 (U15-U18)
$800 (U13-U14)
$575 (U11-U12 8v8)
College Cup Tickets: All U15-U18 teams will receive 20 "All Session" ticket packages to the College Cup games. Includes a ticket to both semifinals and the final match. U13-U14 teams will receive 20 "All Session" ticket packages to the final ONLY. U11/U12 8v8 teams will recieve 15 tickets to the final ONLY. Additional tickets can be purchased HERE.

Teams will receive official notification of acceptance and non-acceptance via email. A list of accepted teams will be posted on the Challenge Soccer Club website.
U11 & U12 TEAMS
The IV ’09 will offer U11 competition in the 8v8 format only. We will offer U12 competition in both 8v8 and 11v11 formats. Be sure to designate which format you prefer to play in when you register your team.
TEAM PARTICIPATION & GUEST PLAYERS
U11 teams may enter with a maximum of 12 players on the roster. U12 (11v11) through U16 teams may enter with a maximum number of 18 players. U17 and U18 teams may enter with a maximum of 22 players. There is no limit on the number of guest players per team, so long as the roster does not exceed the limits listed above.
**ECNL Teams are allowed up to twenty-six (26) or fewer players on their roster**
FORMAT
U15-U18: Each team will play three 80 minute games. Play will begin on Friday, December 4th at 8:00am. The last game on Sunday will conclude by mid-afternoon. Teams should plan on flying out after 6:00pm on Sunday. This will allow teams time to play their game and watch the College Cup final.
**U17 ECNL games will be 90 minutes (two 45 minute halves)**
U11-U14: Each team will play three 60 minute games. Play will begin on Saturday, December 5th at 8:00am and conclude on Sunday by mid-afternoon.
TEAM TRAVEL
If you are flying in for the tournament we recommend you fly into either Houston or Austin. It is approximately 100 miles from George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston to College Station. From Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) to College Station the drive is approximately 120 miles. You may also choose to fly into College Station. There are a limited number of flights in and out of the College Station airport.

COLLEGE PLAYER PROFILE BOOK
Upon notification of team acceptance, The IV ’09 will make available to all attending U15, U16, U17 and U18 teams an opportunity to submit their players/team into our professionally bound and typeset “College Player Profile Book”. The book, detailing specific academic and athletic merits of each player, will be made available to the attending college coaches. The deadline to enter player profiles is Monday, November 2nd.
