Challenge Soccer Club announces Challenge South Tryouts for the U11 Age Group.
Challenge and Quest Soccer Club, a recreational and select program in the Deer Park and the La Porte area, have reached a field usage agreement to expand and train our Challenge South Teams. We anticipate announcing tryout dates and times for U-12 through U17 by next week.
Challenge, the most recognized girl’s club in the State, is excited to have the opportunity to work with the Quest program and train teams at their outstanding facilities located at Northwest Park. Quest Soccer Club has a great group of motivated board members, coaches, and players that we look forward to developing a lasting relationship with. This is another step in the evolution of our club on the South Side of Houston. Challenge’s goal is to expand and develop our program on the South side of Houston that emulates our club on the North side of the city. We intend to implement the same training methods and philosophies to develop players and teams that have distinguished Challenge as the top girl’s club in the state and one of the top in the country for the last 20 years.
Challenge South currently trains at Centennial Park in Pearland and we plan to continue to develop our relationship with Pearland Soccer Club in the future. Pearland is another recreational and select club with a growing program that also has a motivated membership and great facilities. We began last year with two Challenge South teams, and look forward to substantial growth this Spring.
The new incoming U11 age group will have tryouts on May 1st and 2nd from 6:30 to 8:00 at Northwest Park on Field Q6 and Q7. May 3rd will be used if we are rained out on the 1st or 2nd. We invite all current U10 players and top U9 players to come to tryouts for next year's Challenge South U11 teams.
